We use coconut oil for EVERYTHING! Coconut oil is like God’s gift to humanity. Coconut Oil has natural antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties. It makes your hair, nails, and skin shine like the sun.
I haven’t purchased shaving cream in years. I feel like I get a closer shave, and no razor bumps or dry skin afterward when using coconut oil.
The fungal properties help to clear the rash. When my little one has a diaper rash, I use coconut oil on her bottom with every diaper change. Take a dime size amount and rub it on the affected area. The outbreak shows improvement within a day or so.
The best time to put on lotion is right after your bath or shower. Doing this will help reduce you dry skin issue. As someone who used to suffer from terrible eczema, this works wonders.
HAHAHA, I know this maybe a little much. Seriously is you want soft lips, try mixing raw sugar with coconut oil to exfoliate your lip. Then just use coconut oil as your lip moisturizer.
I know this is TMI, but seriously. If you have ever had a yeast infection, you know that those over-the-counter medications are horrible. They burn like hell. I found that coconut oil relieves the symptoms along with uses probiotics. Take a dime size amount and rub it on the vulva whenever symptoms occur.
Sometimes whenever my cuticles are dry, I will just massage some on my cuticles. Doing this will aslo stimulate growth.
The uses for coconut oil on the hair are endless!
Coconut oil is great for moisturizing your hair before shampooing it. This will make for an easier detangling process and helps in preventing breakage. It also adds moisture to the hair before shampooing will assist in avoiding the “squeaky” feeling.
I apply the coconut out oil approx 45 minutes before shampooing and cover with a shower cap.
While in the shower, I add coconut oil while finger detangling my hair. With the coconut and the water pressure, the detangling process has become a lot quicker.
Whenever my hair is feeling drier than usually, I add approx two tablespoons to my deep conditioner. If you are on a budget, just adding coconut to a moisturizing conditioner will make a budget friendly deep conditioner.
Once I am finished flat ironing my hair, I take a pea sized amount and smooth it through my hair. You don’t want to use too much as you don’t want your to lose its body.
There are many other uses for coconut oil such as oil cleanse, oil pulling, and under eye cream, etc. There uses for coconut oil are endless.
